In order to reduce labor costs, keyboard manufacturers went west and set up factories in the Chinese mainland in the past. However, because there is no demographic dividend in the Chinese mainland no longer, pay rise sharply and young people don't want to be engaged in low factory workers, resulting to recruit staffs difficultly. Additionally, instable labors cause the quality of products instable, speeding up the pace of introduction of automatic production - automatic production is a combination of a variety of technologies, including mechanical equipment technology, automatic control technology information system computer engineering electronics, production management and other theories and practical science. The purpose of this study is to, by adopting the cost behavior of account classification, discuss the company’s differences of cost and quality after introducing automatic production for five workstations (scissors assembly, key cap arrangement pressing, key cap push and press, keyboard characters printing, keyboard function test), and we find that the cost recovery period is 10 months, 8 months and 1.8 months, 17 months and 25 months respectively. If we combined with the five automatic workstations, the cost will be lower than the artificial production in 10.5 months. In terms of quality benefit, after the introduction of automatic production, the defect rate reduced significantly, and the quality and other business performance improved also.
