Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 工業設計系創新設計碩士班 === 107 === Signs and advertisements in public area sometimes are not convenient for passerby to see due to space allocation. When the sign is beside the passerby, the sight of its text would be slanting. Passerby should move his position to see the text clearly. Size and stroke of the Chinese characters also affect the sight of passerby. This research topic is about the influence of distance between front and rear and between left and right on recognition. We had a experiment on distances between left and right (40, 60 and 80 cm) and distance between front and rear (300、400 and 500 cm). According to the experimental data that the front and rear distances are 300> 400> 500 cm, and the left and right side distances are 80> 60> 40 cm, the correctness rate of left side is higher than rate of right side. Correctness rate of right dominant eye is higher than rate of left dominant eye. The taller the Chinese character is, the higher the correctness rate is. The correctness rate of word height 5 cm is higher than 2 cm.
