碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院工業工程與管理EMBA專班 === 107 === With the rapid progression of digital electronics, the latest products are of lighter weight, with increasing frequencies and can withstand higher voltage, which incidentally affects the development of passive components. Among the basic ceramic capacitors, Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs), with the thin-layered capacitors stacked together and its miniature size, meet the needs of electronics of the next generation. In order to help manufacturers to stay ahead of the game in the advancement of MLCCs, a detailed examination of the current state and the future projection of the industry is needed. This study first reviews the literature in several areas, including the passive component industry chain, MLCC industry and its dynamics, and its downstream sectors. Combined with financial analysis, using SWOT analysis, five-force analysis and 4P analysis to conduct an in-depth investigation of the MLCC industry, the researcher hopes to present the status quo. Finally, incorporated the field experience of experts, this study aims to provide diagnostic assessments and offer prospects of the industry, so that manufacturers can plan strategies accordingly in terms of the development of MLCCs, not only to keep their winning stance, but to outperform their competition, both locally and internationally.
