In the rousing sermon, which emphasizes human rebirth and repentance, how God's sovereignty and human free will lead people to repentance and faith. What is the urgent need for today's Taiwan Presbyterian Church? However, in fact, George Whitefield and the Presbyterian Church today follow the theology of Reformed Calvin. He attaches great importance to the sermon of revival and uses the sermon of revival to bring great revival influence. However, the Presbyterian Church today ignores the importance of revival sermon. Through research, the author found that the ministry of evangelization and the sermon of evangelization should not only belong to the ministry valued by foreign sects, but also should be valued by the Presbyterian Church, which also inherits Reformed Calvinist theology. Not only that, the author thinks that by comparing George Whitefield with Finney, he finds that Finney not only values evangelism, but also emphasizes the realization of social justice. Therefore, he hopes that this study can bring about further reflection on the balance between evangelism and social justice in the Presbyterian Church today.
