Summary: | 碩士 === 東方設計大學 === 文化創意設計研究所 === 107 === People today must face a variety of challenges every day, big and small, which can exert a lot of pressure on them. Because of this pressure, various kinds of healing and stress-relieving products that relax the mood have become available, while the word "healing" has now become a social phenomenon. Many people have deferred their emotional baggage onto pets, seeking an emotional attachment and a sense of healing to uplift their souls. According to statistics from the Council of Agriculture (COA), the number of cats bred continues to increase in recent years. Coupled with an increase in exposure on digital network platforms, the cat has gradually become one of the representative pets of Taiwan's "healing system." This creation is based on the cat as a theme, and uses the evaluation grid method (EGM) of Miryoku engineering to explore the healing properties of global cat-themed illustrations. It has summarized and analyzed four original charm factors, namely "form," "style," "shape," and "color", nine specific attractiveness factors and 8 abstract attractiveness factors, which are used as the basis for the design of the questionnaire.
In addition, flowers have had a long and special significance in Chinese culture since ancient times. From poetry and painting, we find many moving legends. In particular, the Chinese like to use flowers to represent people. In Chinese culture, many flowers are allocated specific symbols and meanings. However, most of the images of flower gods are based characters and flowers, and rarely have we seen animals being personified and combined with flowers. This creation uses personification techniques to combine cats and flowers and selects representative flowers familiar to the general public from the flower season of Taiwan as its creative theme. As such, this perspective creates a new artistic conception to this creation as it presents the December flower with cat in a different way. In this way, these two objects, which are vastly different, are now combined in the hope that a new idea can be created. Finally, the importance performance analysis (IPA) is used to explore the preferences and satisfaction among young people, and it is hoped that the results can be used as opinion criteria and a reference for 2-D designers as they carry out other healing related style creations.
