Description
Summary:碩士 === 大仁科技大學 === 文化創意產業研究所 === 107 === Abstract There are many Bunun traditional communities in Jhuocing Villiage, Hualien County located on the east side of the Central Mountain Range. Living in the wild makes hunting part of the traditional Bunun lifestyle. Bunun hunters follow the hunting knowledge and taboos of ancestors strictly. Their managed Hunting practices can help maintain wildlife populations and contribute to diversification and sustainability of biological resources rather than harm the survival of animals. It is clear that the Bunun, who is known for their hunting culture, can create another kind of economic activity that depends on the land through the new form of community ecotourism. This study explores the potential of development indigenous community ecotourism in Jhuoching village, Jhuosi township. Implement strategies for the sustainable use of local natural resources, taking into account the special needs and interests of Bunun communities to meet sustainable development without destroying the local cultural and natural environment. It can also effectively weigh the profit and loss between the economic development and bunun culture preservation. The research method was a field visit. I visit three communities to observe rich natural resources and participate Bunun traditional rituals in Jhuocing Villiage. I also survey key peoples’ opinions on developing ecotourism using general interview guide approach. The results revealed there’s high potential to develop the ecotourism industry in Jhuocing Villiage because of its rich natural resources and Bunun culture that has been nurtured on this land for thousands of years. Besides, there’s a subsidiary of Yushan National Park and Forest Service. It is highly expected to develop the local ecotourism package. Keywords: Jhuocing Villiage, Bunun Culture, Ecotourism
