| Summary: | 碩士 === 南臺科技大學 === 多媒體與電腦娛樂科學系 === 107 === The fast development of technologies, it makes the application of digital effects and animation more and more common in daily lives. A stage play applies the techniques of multimediaanimation and digital effects to attract the audience and to satisfy their expectation and amusement to the audio and visual enjoyment.
"Chi Shan Performing Arts Studio" integrated the animated projection into the stage performance “theJourney to the West" with the performance of diabolo playing and dancing. This new element made the performance catch the audience’s eyes because it kept up with the times, increased the narrativity, interactivity and three-dimensionality, which are also important contributing factors to the success of the performance.
This researchtends to make further understanding of the related technologies of stage multimedia animation design through the experience of actual participating in this public performance, which I participated from the beginning of the discussion about the multimedia animation productionto the end of the projection of the public performancewith the director.
The two main subjects of the thesis are about the stage and the animation. The former one will discuss the settings of scenery, projection, lights and etc.; while the latter will include the skills of split scripts, keying, software of special effects and so on. The methods for this research are document analysis and thepractical experiences of involving into the project“the Journey to the West”, which will firstly make an arrangement of problems when applying the multimedia animation and digital effects on producing the stage playand relative solutions to them. The explanation of successful present of this stage play will be included. Finally, these conclusions that the contribution of the projection animation assisting the project “the Journey to the West” and the final managements of technical points when making projection animation can be provided for further reference.
