| Summary: | 碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 應用設計研究所 === 107 === With the progress of society and vast variety of environment, many people ignore their mental variety due to the busy life, the tension and pressure from the living world recall the necessity of searching steady mind. The vital of narrative theory is to find out the creative pattern of story, fairy tale, fiction, movie, musical creations, and the way of expression about artistic form. It is evident that narration exist in our life, it long-term exists in our life, not only involve in fairy tale, fiction, movie, musical creations, but also affect personal creation and mental condition. Narratology is a communication medium with people and society, through the narrative process, people can get the consolation of innermost being, and introspect the worth of life.
The aim of this report is to apply the method of Narrative, on both graphic book creation and personal ideology explanation, further on the theories about analytical method, skill of depiction, cultural codes etc. and firstly we may reach the spirit of ego psychology, in order to encourage people to identify themselves. Secondly, we choose the proper form of graphic creation to interpret “self-identity” by integrating the concept of self-identity into the artwork.
There are five topics relate to different condition of self-concept in this report, and each story in the graphic book is based on the concept of Narrative design. Hopefully, these illustrations could bring a message to the readers, about the importance of “Self- identity” on communication with each other within our lifetime
