Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 企業管理研究所(含碩專班) === 107 === As internet got more and more popular, high accessibility of stock information and convenience of online trading, the value of securities brokers were threatened and the profit of securities industry gradually eroded. In order to cut costs and increase revenue, the securities companies began to reduce business channels and cut manpower, and transformed securities brokers into financial advisers, selling non-stock financial commodities. All these changes caused securities specialists a lot of difficulties. In this background, this study tried to discuss the present situation and mindset of securities specialists and how they deal with the digitalization transformation of Securities Industry.
This research interviewed 10 securities specialists and collected secondary data, attempting to analyze the personality traits and skill differences required by the securities specialists before and after digitization, and how the securities companies trained them to cope with transformation and planed their careers.
This study concluded with the following two findings. First, the securities specialists must face the impact of digital transactions positively, and develop wealth management profession beside the securities industry. Second, the middle-aged securities specialists should accept the changes brought about by the industrial transformation with an optimistic attitude in order to cope with the future career development. This paper also put forward two suggestions. First, digital financial talents must have the ability of data analysis, technological innovation and digital marketing to provide differentiated and personalized services, and have the opportunity to meet the needs of customers in the new era. Second, the middle-aged securities specialists in this stage of transformation must master multiple professions and actively try all kinds of possibilities, maintaining enthusiasm, happiness, and a healthy mentality.
