Whether they are supervisors or subordinates, they are an indispensable part. Performance is an indicator of a successful operation. Under the stimulation of a highly competitive global market, enterprises or organizations begin to pay much attention to the performance management of individuals and groups. Only in this way can they have industrial competitiveness, and understanding supervisory leadership style and subordinate personality traits will become the basis of human resource management. The purpose of this study is to explore the influence and relationship among leadership styles and subordinate personality traits and job performance. First, the study verifies that the leadership style of a supervisor is related to the performance of “efficiency”, “efficacy” and “quality”, and explores whether the “transformation” leadership style is greater than the “transactional” leadership one in the industry ecology. In addition, it proves the correlation between the personality traits of subordinates and the performance of “environment”, “target”, “personality” and “ability” from the cognition of self-personality in the members of the organization. It sorts out the relevant factors through the comparison of research subjects’ work performances and their basic background information. Furthermore, in terms of subjects and methods, the study focuses mainly on the companies with interior design business licenses in Taipei City and New Taipei City areas through the method of questionnaire survey on the subordinates of organization members to understand what they have perceived with regard to the chief officer leadership styles, self-personality traits and job performances. The study then uses the SPSS statistical software as a tool to sort out the results of research hypotheses, and propose appropriate methods or suggestions in the hope of providing a good direction for the interior design industry. Therefore, this study found that there was a significant positive correlation between goals and job performance; personality and work performance were significantly negatively correlated; ability was significantly positively correlated with job performance; supervisory leadership style was significant for subordinate personality traits (internal control personality traits) Positive correlation; supervisory leadership style has no significant positive correlation (non-impact) on job performance; subordinate personality traits have a significant positive correlation with job performance.
