More and more people choose to find friendship and love on the Internet. The market for "dating software" and "dating apps" has also started to prosper. The dating app also has a significant performance in terms of the number of users and the benefits created by the substance. However, most of the mainstream media in Taiwan still reports it with a "erotic violent fraud framework", which leads to the fact that in most people's minds, the dating app is a place full of fraud, and leave a bad impression on this tool and its users. Based on the Emancipation theory of trust, this study adopts the survey method and tries to explain the decision-making process of “choose to use dating apps”. Exploring if general trust and wariness will influence the motivation to use a dating app, which trust cues have a greater influence on the decision-making process in the process of trust establishment, and what kind of relationship exists among general trust and wariness and these trust clues. Research shows, between the users and non-users of the dating app, there is no significant difference exists between "general trust" and "warranty". This result means, Emancipation theory of trust cannot explain the decisions and behaviors of using the dating app. But in the "trust implementation" of selecting the trust object, and the "trust confirmation" of feedback to the trust process, users who have the higher degree of "general trust" and " wariness ", they are more sensitivity to the trust clue which influence trust decision and value. This study also found that these trust clues affecting trust decisions have some differences between users and non-users. Users pay more attention to whether the dating app able to provide good service, and avoid users feel cheated during the member charge and using process. Non-users also pay attention to charging schemes and whether they feel cheated during use, but they are more inclined to pay attention to the experience of the dating app and the protection of user rights than the ability to provide good services. This study makes recommendations based on the research results for reference by the dating app Service Provider. CHANG, SZU-CHIA 張思嘉 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 103 zh-TW
