Western medical treatment was still considered as the mainstream in clinical teatment. However, the side effects of western medicine and drug resistance can affect the immunity of the patient. Therefore, some patients took Chinese medicine as supplementary to restore body immunity for health improvement. Therefore, the combination of Chinese and Western medical treatment has been more popular. However, the effect of the traditional Chinese medicine on human cells and genes is still unclear. Our study aims to predict the effect of Chinese herbal medicine on human body parts through machine learning techniques. We apply graph convolutional neural network model to analyze the relationships between Chinese medicine and tweleve merdians (heart, stomach, spleen, kidney, liver, gallbladder, lung, small intestine, large intestine, the bladder, the pericardium, and the three cokes). The performance of the proposed model is better than other machine learning methods and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC-AUC) achieves 70%. Our study is help to evaluate the function of new Chinese herbal for further subsequent research and development and also provide a novel way for health management and medical treatment.
