Moreover, this study is also concerned with whether odor preference will influence emotion and learning achievement as well as make significant differences between an environment with the learner’s favorite odors or one with odors that the learner doesn’t like. In addition, the study examines if emotion will affect learning achievement and make significant differences. This study establishes a research construction and proposes four research assumptions on the basis of literature reviews. It is experimented by using Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design of True-Experimental Design, and 276 volunteers are randomly divided into three groups based on three different experimental situations: “popular odor,” “unpopular odor” and “no odor.” Each student has to fill out a self-administered questionnaires, so the researcher can collect the needed data of the research variables setting from the questionnaires. Finally, the major findings are as follows: 1. When the learner is learning in the environment with odors, the learning achievement is significantly better than the environment with no odor. 2. When the learner is in the environment with his/her favorite odor, his/her emotion is significantly better than the environment with his/her annoying odor. 3. When the learner has positive emotion, the good effect on learning achievement will be increased 4. When the learner is learning in the environment with his/her favorite odor, the learning achievement is significantly better than the environment with his/her annoying odor.
