Along with the trend of social development, population structure and transforming values, the “conventional postpartum care” started to focusing more on professional cares that are carried out at postpartum nursing institutions. This phenomenon became a new form of market, and due to the declining fertility rate in Taiwan, people began to attach more importance to their needs in health care and similarly, as the mainland China launched its two-child policy, demand for quality postpartum nursing care were increased. Targeting the premium postpartum nursing institutions of Taiwan and main-land China as the research objects, selected institutions were benchmarked. Two postpartum nursing institutions from each of Taiwan and mainland China, which ran for more than three years, were chosen, and their business models are in line with the centralized care, as well as one-on-one care model of postpartum care institu-tions. Analyzing with systems thinking and business model review through case study, expert interview and empirical data were adopted to enhance the quality of investigation. It is found that, there are factors driving the growth of postpartum care institute to form a positive feedback structure toward sustainable development. Some key aspects include: (a). In order to increase occupancy rate, the bonus system can be designed, employee education and training have to be planned and customers’ satisfaction have to be more focused; (b). The quality of care in postpartum nursing institutions should be taken as the core in order to develop innovative ability; (c). To improve the reputation of the industry, it is necessary to strengthen the training of communication skills of employees to increase the new opportunities of contracts with customers.
