Firstly, we study traditional drawing process, it is about blank, drawing and trimming. Engineering software can simulate compound extension forming design (drawing + trimming) and according to different parameter, like material, gap , pressing force, radius and coefficient of friction to analyze the deforming, stress and crack. The study shows it is a compound extension trimming mold design. The mold gap uses in drawing can trim the flange out. To combine two mold in one step, so it can decrease stamping process and cost.
