Taking a certain air force combat team as an example, the research object includes military officers, sergeants and soldiers. Literature review and questionnaire survey method were used in this research. This study facilitated the sampling method for research. A total of 450 questionnaires were distributed, 402 questionnaires were collected, and 12 invalid questionnaires were eliminated. In all, 390 valid questionnaires were obtained. The questionnaire recovery rate was 86.67%. The SPSS statistical software was used for descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, validity analysis, independent-samples t-test, one way analysis of variance (ANOVA) analysis and regression analysis. The conclusions are as follows: 1. Demographic variables show partial significant differences in job characteristics. 2. Demographic variables show partial significant differences in work stress. 3. Demographic variables are not significantly different in job satisfaction. 4. There is a significant positive correlation between work characteristics and work pressure. 5. There is a significant positive correlation between job characteristics and job satisfaction. 6. There is a significant positive correlation between work stress and job satisfaction. 7.
