碩士 === 國立虎尾科技大學 === 多媒體設計系數位內容創意產業碩士班 === 107 === Yunlin County is an agricultural capital. There are many local agricultural products, and one of them is the garlic produced in Citong Township. Garlic can not only be used for cooking, but also has great effect in diet therapy. In recent years, foreign research found that garlic has anti-cancer effect, which enhance public’s willingness to buy and consume garlic day by day. Citong Township is a simple agricultural land, which produces high quality and characteristics garlic. Therefore, when it comes to the specialty of Citong Township, it immediately associates with the local garlic. Unfortunately, the local product promotion of garlic is slightly insufficient, which leads to the low popularity of Citong garlic in the mass market. People often know the garlic, but they don’t know the origin, cultural background and farming process. Therefore, this study intends to make a combination of Indus garlic and mascot, and collect the perception of the subject's mascot by questionnaire. My purpose of this study is to help Citong Garlic to be easily publicized, and enhance public willingness indirectly to purchase local garlic. I hope this research would help the marketing and sales of local garlic farmers in Citong Township.
