The first point is the impact of the declining birthrate led into the labor shortage. The second point is that the recent market has gradually become customized or a small number of diverse situations. Therefore, the increasingly complex machining or production processes have become more difficult for training employees. In order to overcome the problems mentioned above, this study combined the Visual Studio 2017 and Siemens NX to establish the secondary development interface. First, two different types of machining parts form Royal Technology Inc., we analyzed the machining path and made classifications of the parts. Then, the recording function of NX was applied to capture the machining action program, and the integration program of the Visual Studio was adopted to generate the interactive interface. This secondary development interface can generate the corresponding processing steps by some simple operations and necessary parameters to reduce the training time for employees and human errors. In order to confirm the processes established by the secondary development, this study used NX/Post Builder to establish the company-specific post-processor to output NC code for the machining. We also applied VERICUT simulation software to confirm whether the path was consistent with the processing path for the safety purpose. Since this software can establish the model that matches the dimensions of the actual machine, tool components, and jaws according to the actual objects. Thus, if there are tool collision or interference during the cutting simulation, one can immediately find the wrong program or parts of these situations.
