In the literature review, the work describes different approaches to competitiveness and, as an example, points to institutions that use the respective approaches. Also, SWOT analysis is described here as a strategic tool that can help with general analysis. Chapter 3 summarizes the methodology that has been applied to this case. Chapter 4 presents the major findings. The legal framework is introduced here, both on the European level and on the national level. Also, economic indicators such as GDP per capita, GDP growth rate, national savings, etc. are presented here to provide greater perspective on the current state. Finally, Global competitiveness Reports are used to identify the most problematic areas and opportunities for improvement.
