The repair process of a historic building often involves different professionals in constant communication and cooperation to achieve accuracy. Currently, it is a trend to apply BIM to historical buildings, but there are still some problems in repairing design applications. (1) Because of too complicated components of a building, it is not easy to interpret a large number of component models and information. (2) The dismantling and composition of a historical building lack visualization and simple application. (3) As the BIM platform itself cannot directly interact with the model, there are room and possibilities for the development of historical building models, which can cause BIM to be inaccurately applied and have difficulty in communicating. Taking existing wooden buildings as the research object, this study introduces the Building Information Model (BIM) with a game engine, develops an interaction channel between the user and the information, expands the visualization application of BIM of historical buildings, and completes the construction of the Unity integration platform through information collection, programmed integration, and the development of Revit’s tag-on service application programming (iData+ API). The Unity integration platform construction focuses on the connection of geometric models and non-geometric information between different platforms to solve the problems of data transfer and process integration between such platforms. In order to make the information between Revit and Unity be transmitted in both directions and updated in real time, this study completes the Revit’s tag-on service application programming (iData+ API) and sets up the cloud service structure, so that the modification information can be uploaded and superimposed and updated in two directions in order to enhance the interaction and linking between the user and the repair information, which is conducive to the application of historical building repair design to the BIM process. In addition to the need to assist in the restoration of design communication, the perpetual application of model information is maintained with the strengthened linkage between complex component models and information.
