Engineering budget control is an important procedure for the success of engineering projects. The traditional engineering budget is produced by manpower reading the basic data from the 2D design drawing and calculating the number of projects. The process is complicated and time consuming. At present, the engineering calculation software has been widely used in the calculation of the amount of steel in the engineering structure, which improves the work efficiency and accuracy to a certain extent. However, it is still limited by the technical and working modes, so that the reinforcement calculation personnel can use the existing calculation. The amount of software still takes a lot of time and effort. However, with the development and application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology, the traditional working mode of value engineering is affected, and the calculation method of the amount of steel bars also changes. According to the object-oriented and parameterized characteristics of BIM, it can not only reduce the manpower and time requirements, but also reduce human error and improve the correctness of the calculation of the number of steel bars. When changing the design, you can quickly and automatically update the configuration of the reinforcement and recalculate the amount of reinforcement, thus reducing the amount of work required to change the design.
In this study, a reinforced concrete building was built as a case. According to
the two-dimensional design drawing of the case, Revit was used to build a
three-dimensional building space model and a steel structure model, and then
the Extension function was used to calculate the number of steel bars, and then
the traditional professional actuarial The method is compared to verify the
advantage of BIM in engineering quantity calculation.
According to the size and quantity of steel required. In this study, the simplex
method and the Self-tuning SOS were used to carry out the steel trimming
planning (Trim planning), and the objective function was used to solve the
minimization of the residual material (Scap) after the steel cutting. And analyze
the differences in the quantitative results.
