Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 戲劇學系表演藝術碩士班 === 107 === Today, in the 21st century, the rapid development of internet and high technology has changed the ecological structure of the entire world. Art creations, activities and festivals which relate to digital technology are blooming in the international community. Mentality under such trend is also reflected in the educational system in our nation. In the current policy of the 12 years of the National Education, the general program promotes an awareness of science and technology, the improvement of media literacy; it also focuses on the development of cross-disciplinary curriculum. Many art related policies in Taiwan, set their roots in the exchange and cooperation between digital technology and diverse art. The crossover cooperation between performing arts and digital technology is an important tendency led today’s development of arts; the combination between them not only inspires the novel idea and thoughts, but also expands the value and scope of performing arts. From the potential opportunities of these current developments, it is apparent that art work formed or created through cross-technology process, has become one way of management or even survival in contemporary pluralistic society. In 2014, Chieh-hua Hsieh and Ultra Combos team jointly created Second Body. Its technology uses Kinect detector and 3D Mapping technology. Kinect will detect the position of the dancer and instantly project the image on the 3D human figure. This technology is A new interactive projection technology. In 2012, HUANG YI & KUKA created by Yi Huang used the robotic arm (KUKA) to dance with the dancers. By pre-writing the KUKA program, the action was set and the dancers danced with KUKA action. Second Body in the development of interactive projection technology and HUANG YI & KUKA in the use of industrial robot, for the interdisciplinary cooperation between contemporary dance and digital technology is a major breakthrough. This research, firstly, collects relevant academic and general literature through document analysis to trace out the phenomenon and development of contemporary dance and digital arts. Secondly, this research observes and describes the presentation of the two cross-scientific dance works of Second Body and HUANG YI & KUKA. Following the above research outcome, this research uses the methods of interactive aesthetics and Laban movement analysis, refers the crossover theories from scholars such as Hui-Shan Chen, then adopts research methodologies including participant observation, interview, and triangulation, etc., to analyze and examine Second Body and HUANG YI & KUKA in-depth. Overall, this research offers analysis and discussion on the two productions, as well as explores the crossover/interdisciplinary types and meanings between dance and digital arts.
