Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 美術學系 === 107 === This study takes Macao's urban development as an example to discuss the issues caused by urban development and the post-colonial phenomenon that emerged after the transfer of sovereignty. Regarding the witnessing of changes in social values, Macao people’s own cultural identity and traditional culture are gradually weakening or even disappearing. I tried to reflect on the above environmental changes in form of drawings and themed “Paradise”, in order to ask what does paradise mean to the society and myself. The "Paradise" series has been painting since 2012. Presenting the current Macao and its glorious history. It is important to preserve the memory of the city that has disappeared or disappeared in a rapidly changing society. Perhaps in 50 years, Macao is already a member of the Guangdong Dawan District, the city itself will not disappear, but its unique colonial character will be disappearing. The work uses detailed technical pen drawing to imitate the ancient maps and religious paintings of the Great Voyage. Macao’s grand casinos and casinos’ shuttle buses stuck on the road were all shown on the antique map drawing. With some absurd illusory and with some kind of truth in one antique map drawing, this kind of misplacement will be our past, present or future? Perhaps, from the illusory picture people can find the shelter from the real society or their ideal paradise.
