More and more LNG receiving terminal are going to build in the world. As the result, the dynamic model of LNG receiving terminal is more and more important. In this research, it first introduce all the units used in the LNG receiving terminal and describe the control system in the terminal. Then describe the detail of building the model of each model. Finally, doing the normal operation, unloading and tripped case study to see the dynamic performance of terminal. Normal operation case study, it make the cause of dynamic performance clear since all the flow rate, temperature and pressure can be monitored all the time. In unloading case, the different condition of the LNG from cargo ship generate different amount of BOG and make pressure change of tanks different. Besides, the lean and rich LNG also cause different pressure change of tank. In the tripped case, the simulation can test that different operation cause the influence to the system. Jeffrey D.
