Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 土木工程學研究所 === 107 === An experiment was conducted to make a research on the performance of double K-braced steel frame under cyclic load to existing buildings. This study uses finite element program ABAQUS to model the specimen according to the test and does finite element analysis. Comparing finite element simulation results to test results, including lateral force and lateral displacement, axial force and axial displacement, free body force distribution etc. Analysis results show that ABAQUS model can accurately simulate double K-braced steel frame. And, ABAQUS model shows how force transfers from RC frame to double K-braced steel frame. Most force transfers from RC frame to double K-braced steel frame through steel shear plate, then braces bear most of the force. Lateral force distribution affects force transfer: force located in double K-braced steel frame area transfers directly to double K-braced steel frame; force located out of double K-braced steel frame area transfers to double K-braced steel frame mostly by shear force.
