碩士 === 國立臺中科技大學 === 財務金融研究所碩士班 === 107 === In previous studies, some studies have mentioned the relationship about diversification, ownership structure and bank performance, but didn’t explore the impact of the period before and after the global financial crisis, that’s why our study will be discussed. We selected 1558 as sample of commercial banks from 30 countries in Asia and Latin America between 2004 and 2013, and used 2008 as the year of events to explore the impact of the multi-angled operations of banks on their performance from before and after the global financial crisis. And whether the equity structure will also affect the bank''s performance before and after the financial crisis, and finally will explore the impact of multi-angled and ownership structure on bank performance before and after the financial crisis. The results presented that before and after the financial crisis, the multi-angled marketization of banks in Asia had a more pronounced impact on bank performance before and after the global financial crisis than in Latin America. But when it comes to ownership structure discussions, banks in Latin America have had a more significant impact before and after the global financial crisis than those in Asia.
