First, the descriptive statistics are reported as basic analysis. The model building is mainly using logistic regression analysis to find out the variables affecting recurrent education from the 20 variables with socio-economic background in the questionnaire data. 8 explanatory variables are screened out such as work industry, work area, monthly salary, bonus receiving, and consistence of learning, education level, major department, cost of living expenses, etc. The odds ratio of each type of variable, and the impact of each explanatory variable on young people's recurrent education are reported to reveal the model. For model verification, three-quarters of the original data is selected randomly as the training sample to build the prediction models and the remaining one-quarter of the data is applied as a verification sample. The ROC curve obtained from the verification sample has an AUC value of 0.68 which shows that the prediction model is superior to random guess and has an acceptable discrimination. The results of this study show that monthly salary or bonuses are positively related to the willingness of young people to pursue further studies. On the perspective of income, the higher the cost of living, the lower the willingness to further study. On the perspective of occupation, the youth working at financial and insurance industry have the greatest demand for recurrent education. This is also related to the degree of internationalization and the rapid changes of the industry. Besides, the university graduates have a positive relationship with the demand for recurrent studies. The higher the degree of learning to work, the higher the degree of re-education. LEE, MENG-FENG 李孟峰 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 60 zh-TW
