Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 法律學系法律專業組 === 107 === The purpose of this thesis was to discuss the procedural and substaintial issue of the implementation of Arbitration Awards under the World Trade Organization dispute settlement procedure. The implementation of Arbitration Awards under the World Trade Organization dispute settlement procedure includes reasonable period of time arbitration, retaliation arbitration and implementation panel procedure. This thesis strated with the shortcomings of General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade era on the implementation mechanism, to the existing system which grounded in Uraguay Round. The author complemented with previous cases, introduced and analyzed on the procedural and substaintial issue on those three implementation mechanism mentioned above. With three recent cases, including U.S. – COOL, U.S. – Tuna II(Mexico)and U.S. – Washing Machines, the author provided case studies on them. Finally, the author put forward some suggestions on the participation of our country in the implementation procedure under the World Trade Organization.
