The job burnout has been measured by ‘job burnout questionnaire’, which is based on the 'the loading-control model (Korasek, 1970); the ‘psychological flexibility’ has been measured by PFQ (Ben-Itzak, Blustein & Maor, 2014). Based on two-stage sampling; stratified sampling and simple random sampling, there are 242 counseling teachers within 30 schools involved in this research (response rate is 80.66%). The results show as follows: 1. The counseling teacher job belongs to high loadings(M=3.45, the highest one is five, the lowest one is one, the following part in the same ) and high control job(M=3.52). 2. The level of job burnout is lower than median(M=2.83), but the dimensions of ‘job fatigue’ (M=3.30), ‘job over involvement’ (M=3.13) and ‘personal fatigue’ (M=3.09) show higher than median. 3. The counseling teachers show high psychological flexibility(M=3.92), and the dimensions of ‘a perception of reality as multifaceted’ (M=4.08) and ‘characterization of the self as flexible’ show higher scores (M=4.03). 4. Compared with male teachers, the female teachers show significantly higher loadings. 5. It shows high significantly high correlations between ‘job burnout’ and ‘loadings’(r=.47), and’ job burnout’ show significantly low negative correlations with ‘job control’ (r=-1.2)and ‘psychological flexibility’(r=-.17). 6. Based on step-wise regression, ‘loading’ and ‘a positive perception of change’ can effectively predict ‘job burnout’ (R=.551, R2=.304, Adj R2=.298). 7. Based on canonical correlation analysis, ‘loading’ and ‘a positive perception of change’ can influence ‘personal fatigue’, ‘job fatigue’, ‘student fatigue’, ‘parents fatigue’ and ‘job over involvement’, and the ‘loading’ is positive influence and ‘a positive perception of change’ is negative influence. Hence, the counseling teachers can reduce the loadings and promote the positive perception of change can diminish job burnout for improving mental health.
