Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 環境教育研究所 === 107 === With the rapid economic growth, a great deal of resource utilization and industrial production has led to the emergence of waste as a serious social and environmental issues. The waste has caused the destruction of Taiwan's environment and the health of its citizens. Due to the rise of environmental awareness, recycling of waste has become an important indicator of the pursuit for sustainable development of the living environment. The purpose of the study is exploring the intention of the citizens in Taipei for resource recycling. According to the statistics, the amount of household refuse per person per day in Taipei for the Republic of China was 1.12 kg in 1990 and it decreased to 0.37 kg in 2015. The resource recovery rate also increased from 2.4% to 56.6%. Household recycling has contributed to the overall garbage disposal in Taipei.
The structure of the Comprehensive Action Determination Model.(CADM)proposed by Klöckner(2010)will be used to explore the Taipei citizens recycling intention. According to the theory, I will study the effects on “recycling behavior” of seven variables such as "awareness", "attitude", "social norms", "recycling habits", "personal norms", "perceptual behavior control", and "recycling behavioral intentions”. This study adopts the model of Taipei City District Survey, and the questionnaires according to the population of each district.The Structure Equation Modeling(SEM)is used for path analysis to explore the relationship between variables.
This study will be conducted by using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 23.0.and LISRAL9.2. I will find out the difference between a social background variable and recycling behavior. Klöckner's(2010)Comprehensive Action Determination Model (CADM) will be in line with the Taipei Residents Recycling Model. Using Structural Euqaton Modeling(SEM)to preform Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA)and Path Analysis.At the results, the behavioral intentions of Taipei residents will be explored. Use nature resources reasonably, Protect ecological balance, and promote sustainable economic development.
