In addition, students’ adolescent minds are immature, and media literacy and life discipline must be guided; in these circumstances, campus management is faced with enormous challenges. This study investigated the effect of Tainan student affairs staff’s role identity and organizational commitment on the job performance. There were valid 401 questionnaires in total. The collected data was analyzed with SPSS 22 Statistics Software, and processing tools including descriptive statistics, reliability and validity tests, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, regression analysis. The major conclusions were reached. In Tainan, the student affairs staffs’ role identity, organizational commitment and job performance are highly relevant, and their significant further organizational commitment has partial mediating effect on the relationship between role identity and job performance. There are few studies on role identity and organizational commitment in Taiwan, this study makes up the research gap, and it indicates that awarding the staff on the regular basis can establish their self-esteem, increase their willingness for work retention in student affairs, and further upgrade their work experience and job performance. Based on the results, this study proposes suggestions to educational authorities and future researchers. LIN, CHIA-YEN 林佳燕 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 52 zh-TW |
