| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 環境與生態學院環境教育碩士在職學位學程 === 107 === The researcher conducted questionnaire survey of census which was supplemented by semi-structured interviews in the course of the investigation. The purpose of the research is to understand the current environmental literacy rate of general and vocational high school Students in Tainan City. Some suggestions are provided for the reference of the respective government agencies. The results are summarized as follows : 1. Students scored an average of 61.38% on the environmental awareness assessment；2. Both General and Vocational High School Students in Tainan City had positive attitudes towards environmental literacy, and had neutral attitudes toward s Environmental Action Experiences. After the interviews, the facts give support to the proposal that designing attractive environmental education curricular and promoting environmental protection in multiple ways will help boost the environmental literacy of general and vocational High School Students in Tainan City. Furthermore, the results demonstrate the merit of studying levels of environmental literacy in other counties in Taiwan, to aid the further application of environmental education.
