Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系教育經營與管理碩博士班 === 107 === Many studies in Taiwan has found that different social classes lead to different educational achievement and equality of educational opportunity. Corresponding to the economic system or occupation, even if educational opportunities have been expanded, there still exist differences which resulted in social class reproduction due to diplomas and capital. Based on B.Bernstein's theory of cultural reproduction, cultural reproduction rooted in the content of the school curriculum. The structures and attributes of curriculum knowledge have class exclusivity, which achieved the goal of social control. The operation of such control mechanisms is often carried out through the execution of teachers.
Therefore, if teachers want to improve the academic achievements of the students in labor class, they must first understand the impact of cultural reproduction on labor class students. Through pedagogical transformation, teachers can avoid cultural reproduvtion and then provide its class mobility opportunities.
This study is aimed at teachers, using the interview method to collect data and analyze concepts, and finally form the following conclusions.
1. Family cultures affect students' learning performance in cultural reproduction
2. School curriculum and discipline mechanism have influence on students' learning performance.
3.Students’ learning mode have difference among social classes.
4.School curriculum and discipline are unfavorable for students with low socioeconomic status.
5. awareness of teachers' curriculum and the possibility of pedagogical transformation.
Class habitus are not easy to change. However, through the teacher's pedagogical transformation, it is possible that teachers can provide opportunities for students with poor academic performance in the labor class.
