In order to have a longer life time for devices, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is developed to effectively utilize the energy. For bluetooth devices, they often use the broadcast mode to carry messages or present them existence. However, when more and more bluetooth devices co-exist in the same area, there will be greater opportunity for the broadcast message collision. This causes the bluetooth device being difficult to receive others' signal. Even more seriously, some devices' messages may be always blocked and others cannot receive their messages. In this paper, to solve the bluetooth broadcast collision question, we propose the dynamic broadcast cycle adjustment mechanism for devices, when the number of existing BLE devices increases in the environment, to extend broadcast cycles to decrease the collision probability system is established by using Raspberry Pi's as the central gateway to receive messages from beacons. Beacons are set in the environment or carried by users. The proposed dynamic broadcast cycle adjustment mechanism is mainly executed in the gateway, which is responsible for asking surrounding beacons to adjust their broadcast cycles to guarantee the reception success rate, and prevent beacon being blocked. The experimental process and result are also presented in this paper. CHEN, JEN-JEE 陳建志 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 54 zh-TW |
