of science and technology in recent years. Although the price of macro photography
equipment is still high, equipment is easier to acquire and the quality of shooting is way
better than before. This research focuses on the diverse ways that close-up photography can
operate. By using digital single-lens reflex camera and extension tube, it is not so difficult for
people to find access to close-up photography. Furthermore, the research also discusses the
difference between macro and close-up photography through articles and documents to
clarify these two shooting ways.
Further research of the creation mentioned above is carried out still with colored-light
and cutting. Inspired by cuisine diary, food, the element of human life, is one of main items
of research and discussion. The research is operated by magnifying objects, which nearly can
be seen directly by vision, through close-up photography. After objects are magnified, lights
would also be adjusted. More and more color elements are added into single-colored and
geometrical structures, and make the viewers changes their emotions and feelings. Therefore,
objects are presented by being changed into non-food appearance.
To weaken viewers’ image connection to food, cutting and colored-light are used to
enhance photos. Also, skills of shooting scenery are manipulated in photos to make every
detail of food elements of changing from background to subject, and vice versa.
