Summary: | 碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 教育心理與諮商學系 === 107 === This study uses the self-narration as the research method. It stems from the practice reflection of counseling training. I feel that I am in a state of disconnection from the context and emotions, and I am caught in the low tide of self-doubt. The paper tries to use writing and reflection, find back the link between myself and Taiwan. And through practice dialogue, discriminate the bicultural self between steady friendly temperament and achievement orientation. Re-select the attitude of coping, as well as outline my ideal image of counselor.
The narrative starts from my family and sees the life style of the petty-funded labor families in port city, Kaohsiung. Through the history of three generations, it shows the different situations of Taiwan before and after the Second World War. From the microscopic point of view, personal life experience, in addition to the family economic situation, is also affected by single-pass male, Christian faith, education and education reform in Taiwan (about 20 years since the 1990s). And gradually evolved under the trend of Taiwan's post-colonial context and internationalization. Embark on the development of a bicultural self. "Rootless generation" is the author's interpretation of this young generation in Taiwan. Under the circumstances of the education system, the screams of the previous generation of martial law, the trend of internationalization, and the cross-strait relations, thus, the family living in Taiwan is unfamiliar with the land, the development of bicultural self is even more important.
At the end of the text, try to talk about the appearance of my role in different contexts, sort out the history of being in Taiwan, and also print out the image of the helper I am looking forward to in counseling, that is, through dialogue and appreciation, the rigid construction is understood in the context of the times, and then deconstructs and reconstructs the images of mutual understanding, to help the individual to find the subject position, and to develop the power to stabilize the self.
