It compared the differences among teachers of different backgrounds and analyzed the correlations between work adjustment and intention of stay as well as the predictability of the former factor on the latter. The study adopted survey as its research method. An integrated survey entitled “Investigating Work Adjustment and Intention to Stay for Teachers Serving Concurrently as Administrators” was compiled by the researcher for data collection. The survey targeted teachers serving concurrently as administrators of school affairs in Taichung City’s junior high school in 2017 academic year. The sample size was 556 teachers who were administrators selected from 40 schools. The effective sample size was 506 teachers and was analyzed through descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The findings were as follows: 1. Work adjustment was at higher-than-intermediate level for teachers serving concurrently as administrators. 2. Intention to stay was at intermediate level for teachers serving concurrently as administrators. 3. Work adjustment differed with their age, marital status, years of service, and years of being administrators for teachers serving concurrently as administrators. 4. Teacher’s intention to stay differed with their age, marital status, years of service, years of being administrators, positions, and school size for teachers serving concurrently as administrators . 5. Work adjustment was positively correlated with intention to stay for teachers serving concurrently as administrators. 6. Work adjustment could predict intention to stay for teachers serving concurrently as administrators. Based on the aforementioned conclusions, the study proposed some suggestions for educational administrations, school administrations, teachers serving concurrently as administrators of school affairs, and future researchers.
