Method:The study enrolled ten male subjects, aged 20-30 years old, who had jogging habits of more than 5,000 meters per week on weekdays, and had at least one experience in participating in a 10km road running race, and withoutlower limb sports injuries in the past six months.Use A and B two different well-known brands with different pressure values to carry out the 10km running test with the treadmill in the laboratory. The speed was set at 11km/hr~10km/hr, in addition, the EMG signal of right foot Tibialis Anterior (TA) and Gastrocnemius (GA) during running were collected. To realize the activation of the TA and GA, and the degree of muscle vibration of the right foot GA.The statistical part used SPSS12.0 two-way repeated-measures ANOVA to compare the differences between different pressure values of the compression calf sleeves and different periods, and used the LSD (Fisher's Least Significant Different) method forpost hoc group comparison, and the significant level was set to α=0.05. Result:The muscle activation degree of wearing thecompression calf sleeves during the three periods of running was better than that of the non-wearing compression calf sleeves, and it was found that if the compression calf sleeveswere worn, the A compression calf sleeveswere better than B, and better than the non-wearing compression calf sleeves. Moreover, in term of three periods, the muscle activation degree in initial period was better than middle and final period, but there wasn’t significant difference on muscle vibration. Conclusion:With compression calf sleeves, the EMG signal of TA and GA are better than the non-wearing compression calf sleeves in the 10km road running. Besides, in regard to improving sport performance and anti-fatigueperformance are also better than the non-wearing compression calf sleeves. Moreover, the pressure value of the compression calf sleeves from 22 to 17mmHg seems more effective. Key words: Compression calf sleeves, 10km road running, Fatigue.
