Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 語文教育學系碩博士班 === 107 === This action research aims at applying elementary fifth-grade students to writing to “storytelling combined emotional themes” and exploring the changes of students’ lyrical expression ability by analyzing both qualitative and quantitative data.
Storytelling combined emotional themes, based on scaffolding theory, multi-level questioning, and emotional education in life education, is designed for the fifth-grade students. We then observed the lyrical expression ability changes of students with diverse start-learning attitude after they’ve underwent the teaching action. This study takes the fifth-grade students from an east district of Taichung city elementary school as the research objects. We use the “lyrical expression writing rating scale” as a quantitative tool to calculate the lyrical performance and to summarize the class performance and essays of the students. We found that the teaching action improves the lyrical expression ability and the study attitude of the students. Besides, the teaching action causes significant differences between students with diverse start-learning attitude.
