Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 舞蹈學系碩士班 === 107 === The study is an interpretation and the producing process of the Graduation Performance of Class 2018 “Reborn”. Elaborating on the author’s breakthrough in ridding his habitual physical movements and interpretations in the past, it explores the author’s performance interpretations of the four choreographies that he produced and performed, including “Leave a Light on”, “a Kick”, “Incarnation”, and “Remnant”, and reflects the author’s mental journey and practical experience of dedicating himself to the graduation project production. The thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter, “Introduction,” describes the author’s upbringing and journey of learning dance, followed by the motivation and purpose of the production of the performance. The second chapter, “Performance Forms and Literature Review,” discusses the development of contemporary dance and organizes the author’s exploration of the grasp and assistance of performance interpretations, followed by his mind-body-spirit transformation. Chapter three, “Production and Performance Content,” explains the arrangement of the production and provides a simple illustration of the performance content. Chapter four, “Analysis and the Course of Performance Interpretations,” documents the choreography rehearsals, the challenges faced in the process, how they were resolved with solutions, as well as the course of interpretation from the rehearsing phase to the official performance. Chapter five, “Conclusions,” describes the author’s reflection on his physical performance. The author’s discourse documents the production process of the graduation project as feedback for himself and as a reference for future performers participating in performance productions.
