| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺灣體育運動大學 === 體育研究所 === 107 === After a long-term evolution of time and reform of the institution, the National Games becomes the largest and highest-ranking comprehensive competitive sports event in Taiwan. In order to improve the National Games, Taiwan has issued guidelines for the National Games with a regulatory level order, so as to decree the regulation of powers and restrictions while a city hosting a National Game. The main research tools of this study are the methods of literature analysis and case study, which analyze the historical changes of the National Games and the evolution of relevant legal norms, and also aim to study the results of selection, training and participation of the National Games after the reform of Taichung City in 2010.
Through this research, we anticipate to provide advice of hosting National Games, and helping Taichung City to participate in the National Games. After collecting and analyzing the data, three conclusions are as below:
1. The selection of Delegation of Taichung City for the National Games is held by Taichung Municipal Sports Federation. The forms of the selection are in many ways.
2. In order to achieve physiological and psychological peaks before the game, Taichung City usually divides the training methods into multiple stages. Each stage can be divided into different proportion of physical fitness, technology, tactics, actual combat simulation and psychological quality.
3. After the reform, Taichung City won the fourth place, the Legislative Yuan Speaker Award, in National Games for many times. The number of medals was second to Taipei City, New Taipei City and Kaohsiung City.
