This research had collected effective sample 160, which were all from spinal cord injury association. The questionnaire is comprised of four parts: background variables, employment, Adaptation to Disability Scale (Chinese translate version) and Career Belief Checklist. The results were as the followings: 1. Time plays an important role within the successful employment of spinal cord injury patients. The younger and the longer years of injury, the easier to successfully employed. 2. There is significant difference between successful employment and unsuccessful employment of spinal cord injury patients in the career beliefs subscale "Character Stereotypes" 3. The younger the age, the work is part of life, the macro-maturity view of the professional world, the ability to clearly understand the work that suits them, the reliance on tests and experts, the longer the number of years of injury, the easier it is to succeed in employment. 4. There are significantly differences in the Career Belief Checklist in Spinal cord injury patients with different ages, genders, educational levels, years of injury, and injury status. The difference between different ages is the most significant, and the difference in the number of years of injury is second. 5. There is significantly positive correlation between barrier adaptation and career beliefs, especially in the adaptation to disability, and there is a positive correlation between finding value in work and self-efficacy in career. 6.
