Myanmar has been a closed economy for almost 50 Years and has been open up since 2011, it is no longer covered with mystery. However, due to the language and cultural barriers, there are still considerable risks for Taiwanese businessmen who want to advance in Myanmar. However, due to the language barriers and cultural differences, there are still considerable risks for Taiwanese businessmen who want to advance in Myanmar. Starting from the catering industry, this study explores the important factors that influence the success of Taiwanese businessmen if they want to enter the Myanmar market. If the investor can grasp the important factors influencing its entry into the Myanmar market, it will be able to make the best allocation of its limited resources and increase the success rate of the pioneer. This study uses case study method, taking Taiwanese restaurants which has entered the Myanmar market as the research object, through in-depth interviews with advanced Taiwanese businessmen and secondary data collection, and collects the researcher's first-hand observation of the dietary consumption of Myanmar people to provide reference for Taiwan's investors who want to enter or have entered the Myanmar market.
