Since pattern matching requirements of different domains lack unified theory, designs, and implementation support, there are various pattern matching models and design techniques in different domains. In this research, we developed a pattern matching library. It supports an external specification of pattern rules and allow programmers to integrate with internal software models to specify different pattern matching algorithm designs. Our research team has developed this model-based pattern matching algorithm specification method. It provides integration of supported base model setting and uses in application algorithms to achieve programmer’s requirements on pattern matching algorithm specification. In this research, we target on design models in this methods to perform software library design and implementation and experiments.
