The usage of Phase-Locked Loop(PLL) is implemented for frequency demodulation in order to combine with SIL RADAR to realize wireless physiological signal sensing. Compared with the previous researches using IQ de-modulation for SIL radar, a delay unit is needed in those architectures, the PLL-based frequency demodulation technique has the advantages of IC implementability. This thesis is divided into three parts, the first part is research motivation and literature review, and the second part is the design of PLL-based frequency demod-ulator. The third part is the actual measurement of human vital sign using the SIL RADAR combined with PLL-based frequency demodulator.
