Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 經濟學研究所 === 107 === In recent year, drunk driving has been the main reason of motor vehicle accidents in Taiwan. In 2018, there are approximately 101 thousands of motor vehicle accidents that are cracked down by cops, including 12,385 are injured and 315 are dead by drunk driving. On average, there are 35 people injured or dead because of drunk driving.
This study based on interviewers’ background, intensity of personal subjective perception of enforcement of drunk driving, law-abiding index, the situation of collateral penalty and the perception of drunk driving of Taiwan to discuss the probability of drunk driving. In addition, due to the citizen of Taiwan normally consider the penalty of drunk driving is insufficient. Hence, this study is utilized to investigate interviewers’ perception of other countries’ penalties of drunk driving.
This study adopts the online questionnaire to carry out statistical analysis through statistical software SPSS. The consequences of the study expose that male is easier to drive while intoxicated than female, and the frequency of drinking, law-abiding index, intensity of personal subjective perception of enforcement of drunk driving and the perception of drunk driving of Taiwan will significantly influence interviewers’ probability of drunk driving.
