The study found that the intellectual motivation was not the main motivation for Y generation to engage in cultural activities, but whether they engaged in Taiwanese or Japanese cultural activities contributes to the accumulation of cultural capital, and the Taiwanese and Japanese cultural are integrating. In the end, this study also suggested the follow-up researches that could try to explore other motivation items about cultural activities participation or the difference between the Generation’ s cultural capital accumulation.
