碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 視覺藝術學系碩士班 === 107 === 　　This study investigates the methods of ugly elementary substances in order to transform into“beauty”through the creators' artistic technique regeneration.Though most public seek for “beauty”﹐but it's getting more common of ugly substance in application and artistic creation.This study is enlightened and based on the treatise and its artistic works of beauty transform from ugliness from both Eastern and Western artists and philosophers. 　　In the practices of artistic creations, the author amasses hideous wastes to make a unique and perfect artistic works based on the theories of Conceptual art, Constructivism, Assemblage, Arte povera and lnstallation art , to match with the theory of beauty regeneration from ugliness. 　　The productions in this study are separated into two series, one is “the sublimation of flat image”, and the other is “the combination of 3–D conflict”. In the first series, oil paintings and crayons are mixed with some traditional artistic media so as to reduce the restrictions of flat productions. In the second part, the used wastes are reconstructed to build the new artistic language and concept.
