Based on the literature review, this study collected the data by using “questionnaire of servant leadership and school effectiveness in the Elementary Schools of Tainan City”. A total of 694 questionnaires were sent, and 635 returned questionnaires were effective. The effective response rate was 94.78%. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression.The major conclusions of the study were as follows: 1. The current situation of elementary school teachers’ perception of principals servant leadership was above the average. "Service dedication" ranked the highest value among all others factors. 2. There are significant differences between job position and school size on the elementary school teachers’ perception of principals servant leadership. 3. The current situation of elementary school teachers’ perception of school effectiveness was above the average. "Teacher teaching performance" ranked the highest value among all others factors. 4. There are significant differences between gender, job position, and school size on the elementary school teachers’ perception of school effectiveness. 5. “Constructing professional community” of principals servant leadership has more effect on school effectiveness. 6. The principals servant leadership has more effect on the “administrative operational performance” and “community parents' participation” of school effectiveness.   According to the research findings, this study provides several suggestions for elementary school principals, elementary school teachers, and further study respectively.
