Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 中國語文學系碩士班 === 107 === Moral education is an essential element to the growth process. Nonetheless, little attention has been given to moral education due to result-focused teaching environment. Many scholars recommend building good reading habits as one of the ways to sculpture good character. Therefore, this study uses Wang Liqin's novels as the core basis, discussing 26 of her juvenile novels published before 2017. The novels are classified into nostalgic writing, family writing and campus writing, and the study explores their implications upon education. The research method is supplemented with the theory of juvenile growth psychology, reading teaching theory, etc., in which we explore how Wang Liqin conveys the inspirational significance of literature, and how readers may receive the subtle influence of moral education. The study found that Wang Liqin's youth novels features emphasis on moral education and on family education, nurtures youngsters’ ability in problem solving, and constructs positive friendly growing environment. In general, Wang Liqin’s juvenile novels provide the best moral education and serve the purpose of giving counsel to problematic juvenile growth. Researchers hope that the future teaching environment could adopt Wang Liqin’s novels as a model, focus on the discussion on juvenile growth issue and work hand in hand with cross curricular teaching; thus, enabling learning to become the core substance in realising the goal of moral education.
